The two quickly marry to make their love and dedication to one another official before he leaves.

 

Shortly after Harrison reaches the battlefront, Catherine receives the worst news a war wife could hear: Harrison is missing. Armed with resolve and her love for Harrison, Catherine recruits her grandfather and leaves for Europe to search for her husband.

 

But Catherine’s life changes forever in Europe, and her grandfather’s knowledge of a magical glassmaking process allows Catherine and Harrison’s fate to be paused.
